Main Qualification Event

There will be free hardbat for the players to collect before the tournament at free of charge (usually a bat cost 15euro to buy online).

Playing Format

First Stage

Round-robin group stage – two rounds of round robin plenty matches
4 players per group – All events are two round robin (RR) format,
Followed by single elimination playoffs. Two players will advance from each RR group. All matches are 2 out of 3 games to 21 points.

Second Stage

Top 2 players in your group will proceed to the second round of round robin with other top 2 players in other groups
Bottom 2 players in your group will proceed to the second round of round robin with other bottom 2 players in other groups
Followed by single elimination playoffs. All matches are 2 out of 3 games to 21 points.

Prizes

First: qualification to the Mexico world championship of pingpong and a USD 500 dollar subsidy.

Second place and third place: qualification ticket to the Mexico World Championship event

Consolation Winner: Trophy

Entry Open Qualification Event: €20 (a free bat included)

Tournament Regulations

All events are round robin (RR) format, followed by single elimination playoffs. Two players will advance from each RR group. All matches are 2 out of 3 games to 21 points.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Nov. 15, 2023. Late entries will be accepted, by phone or at the door, space permitting.

RATINGS: ICTTF Classic Hardbat/Sandpaper ratings as listed at ClassicTableTennis.com will be used, For unlisted players.

PADDLES: ICTTF-approved Classic Hardbat and Sandpaper paddles must be used. Only wood blades are allowed. Paddles will be available free for new players.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all nationalities. For age events, players must be in their category as of the tournament date. No player may be in two events that start at the same time or more than three events on the same day.
