We are thrilled to announce that 2024 confucius cup will be held in Loop with over €5,000 in cash prizes on offer. So far we have players from over 25 countries, including internationally ranked players!

Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in the events as we have many events to cater all levels. Secure your spot today—spaces are limited and we expect high demand for all categories.

Events

  1. Qualification to the main open event: All players are welcome
  2. Junior event under 19: Under 19 years are permitted
  3. Junior 10 to 14 Years old – we will split by levels:
  4. Doubles Qualification: No restriction
  5. Band 1: No restriction
  6. Band 2: Rating 1900 or below can participate
  7. Band 3: 1800 or below
  8. Band 4: 1700 or below (Referee will also check if your level is too high even you are below 1700)
  9. Restricted singles: Outside of top 8 ranking in Ireland
  10. Without top 3 players seeded male players: Without top 3 players seeded male players
  11. Main mixed open: If you are seeded top 8 in ireland or top 50 in UK then you can enter the main event without playing the qualification.
  12. Ladies open: All ladies welcome – no restriction
  13. Doubles final: Players qualified plus top seeded pairs
  14. Band 1 finale: Qualified players plus direct entries

Tournament Regulations

  1. Late entries will go into the waiting list for the respective event or events.
  2. No refunds will be paid out after entries are entered into the draw format.
  3. All matches will be played according to the Rules and Regulations of I.T.T.F.
  4. Players will be scratched if not present and ready to play when called upon.
  5. The draw will be seeded in all main events. Byes may be allocated to the top seeds in their respective events.
  6. Matches will be “Best-of-5” (except Division Bs in various events or consolation category: “Best-of-3” unless time permits “best-of-5”). Best-of-7 for final match for Main Event on Sunday.
  7. The decision of the Referee will be final on points of law and in all cases of dispute. The decision of the Umpire will be final on points of fact.
