I’d like to express and share with you all my joy as Loop Table Tennis has been honoured with the prestigious “Club of the Year 2022” award by Table Tennis Ireland.
I attended the ceremony last Saturday, which celebrated excellence and recognised the hard work of some of the most dedicated table-tennis players, coaches and volunteers in Ireland.
(Vincent (Ni) also won the “Irish No.1 Under 15 Boys 2022” award. What an amazing talent!)
This award is very welcome and comes at a special time for us.
We are using a very experimental approach with all our initiatives and growing fast.
Our technical platform and tools are evolving at rapid pace. We have seen great progress both on and off the court, with players winning tournaments left and right.
More importantly, our club culture is one that is supportive, welcoming and friendly which makes it easy for new members to get involved.
Still. There is TONS of work left to do.
As a club member and volunteer, however, I hope one day Loop TT will be able to lead by example and bring the whole table-tennis movement to the level and recognition that it deserves.
I would like to thank Na (Ning) and all coaches, members and volunteers for their past and future help in making this possible.
